ABOUT THE PAUL WAWRYKO 5K

This event is being held in loving memory of Dr. Paul Wawryko, who passed away in December of 2023.

An avid runner, Paul was a beloved friend, coworker, and family member to countless people and we plan to honour his memory with an annual 5K event.

CONTINUING TO
MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Proceeds from the event will be used to fund an annual scholarship for the department of Pathology, where Paul worked and won a prestigious teaching award as the educator of the year.

The remaining funds will be donated to various causes which were near and dear to Paul’s heart.
